If you know me, you know I love helping others, esp writers in the Indie World. I wish I could buy all their books. If you don't know me, now you know that much.
I'd like to tell you all about BookTours, the website I created. It is a collection of Indie Authors. One or two may be traditionally published. I will not tell an author no because of where they were published. It isn't right. We have the same problem--marketing our own books. Publishers don't do that for you unless you're a sure thing and since they don't know us, we're not considered a sure thing. That's sad because we have all invested our souls into the creation of each story we've written. It doesn't matter if you're published or self-published; the same energy and love went into that book.
I DO NOT charge to add you to the website. I only ask that you share the link for the site. That's one less marketing tool to worry about! But it's not all we have on the website, so you're welcome to do more than just have your books displayed on the site!
We have a blog where we share Author Interviews, Books in the Spotlight, and I'm thinking of other ideas to blog about. Ideas are welcome if you have any.
We have a Forum too. That way readers and writers can talk to each other, which is cool for the readers. Be sure to head in there and introduce yourself.
We have a resource page where you, the writer or the reader, can find places to help you out.
And if you have something you want to share, you can download files directly on the site. Of course, we don't have a way to know if someone is 18+ so if you have something adult-natured, that is something you won't be able to share, but you can ask me to include a link for it or share the link in the Forums. Up to you.
