Hello! Here's an update, the first of the year. I'm working on the next book at the moment (Fairytale's Dreams). I'm also dreaming of the upcoming books, which is something I tend to do all the time lol. I finished Nanobytes sometime ago and was very happy with it. I can't believe I also finished Broken. That one took a while to write because I had to choose what would go into the story. I left a lot out to give me a chance to write other books like Homeless Across America, which will be a memoir style book. I'm also thinking about writing a book on my writing experience. What do you think of that idea? Please reply in the comments and share your thoughts or email me at a.r.grosjean@hotmail.com. Ideas are always welcome! I'm always playing around with covers. Some of them get scrapped for whatever reason while others get displayed. It's been a little while since I came up with a good cover for other writers. I need to find something. Do you ever have that problem? Let me know. Thank you!

Hello! I wanted to bring in a new update as we reach the end of November. My newest book, Hidden Agenda is ready for release. It will be available on December 10th but pre-orders are available. I had a big challenge for this book while placing an Author Copy order of the paperback. It's something new from Amazon. I was excited that I was able to get a copy before the book released. I paid for the book and waited for it to arrive. It was shipped and went all the way to Ohio, my neighbor state. Then the tracking for it stopped. I waited, Amazon kept saying the book was running late. Finally, I called Amazon and asked what was going on. They said the book was undeliverable because the book wasn't released yet. What? Someone could have told me that instead of saying it was running late. I was reimbursed for the payment. Now I have to wait for the release like everyone else. I sure hope Amazon fixes that or changes it so people don't make the same mistake! I was so upset by their screw up! On the brighter side, I was able to finish writing A Mother's Pain. I'm going to begin editing the story on December 1st. Meanwhile, I began writing the next book, Nanobytes. On the first day of writing this story, I managed to get down more than 5K words! I have to say, I was impressed by how quickly the words ran through me! Once I begin editing A Mother's Pain, I will put Nanobytes to the side. When it's finished and I'm waiting for Beta Readers, I'll go back to writing so the wait won't seem like forever lol. Then get back to A Mother's Pain for more editing. I am super nervous about this story since so much of my real life was put into it. I'll be crossing my fingers that people enjoy this story! Stay tuned for more edits as the days move forward. You're welcome to subscribe to my newsletter too! I'm always bringing updates there! A.R. Grosjean

I just wanted to share an #update with my writing. I am in full swing of finalizing my edits with #AlienTaskforce. This book is coming along better than I anticipated. I'm overly excited about that. Beta readers always help bring out the best in stories. Once this book is finished, it'll be uploaded to Amazon. Pre-order links have already been established and waiting for the day to be released in September. I'm ahead of schedule for it but I don't want to let down my guard. I still have some editing to finish before my deadline. I'm planning for September 15th as my deadline though Amazon's deadline is the 21st. That gives me a couple of extra days to make sure it's just right. I'll begin editing #HiddenAgenda and search for Beta readers once that's finished. While I wait for those readers, I can get back to writing #AMothersPain which I started a little while back. I changed the original plot to give it an inspirational feel. I hope it goes as planned. I have no control over those things lol. Are you a #planner or a #pantser? I'm a pantser, but I do like having a general plan. Mostly, I let my characters run wild and write down what I see them doing, but I always have some sort of idea already in place. Plots can change or twist into multiple plots, which can be fun. I find everything to do with writing fun. Marketing is the only part of the process that I struggle with. I'm sure a lot of other writers feel my pain. My newsletters are through MailerLite. They are making some big changes with their platform, forcing me to make changes as well. Do you use MailerLite? What platform do you use? I was using Classic, but in Feb they are cutting it. I was so used to it. I'm using their new platform now, which is going to take some time getting used to. But I will deal with it. Anyway, that's all I have for now. Looking forward to hearing your updates in the writing world. Thank you!!!

Murder in the Wind has had one Beta read it through. She made her suggestions and I went back to editing. Once I was finished, I got back out there and asked for more Betas. Another has stepped forward and she is now looking it over. I'm waiting to hear back. I am back to writing Missing Through Time and have written 16 chapters. Well, I'm on Chapter 16. I was shocked when I noticed how many I have already, but these are mostly shorter chapters in different POVs so I'm not going to worry so much about them right now. It is 4 in the morning as I write this. I'm currently at 14K words with 57 pages into the story. I'm asking myself questions as I write the book. That way I can answer them later within the story. I don't want anything left untold that needed to be shared. If I'm asking these questions, I know you will. I wrote Murder Through Time using the same method and people liked it, so I'm doing it again to keep the stories together. I actually like this method--using different POVs to tell the story. By using them, I can get the entire story told using the show vs tell (show is better). There's no explaining that way lol. I am super excited about this story because the new villain is so different. And this story is more complex. I love it! --Amber aka A.R. Grosjean

Today, I reached 60K in my next book, Peterson Estate 7. I was so happy when I saw my progress. I have 62 more pages to edit, but I am confident I can get this book finished by the 19th. I guess we'll see. Either way, I'll be looking for beta readers by that time. If by chance, the story isn't ready by then, I can let the readers know. I'm just excited that the story is coming together as nicely as it is. I can't wait for people to begin reading this book. Happy, happy, happy! Anyway, just wanted to share the day when I reached my goal! I hope you're reaching your goals! What's your update? Amber

Last night, I dreamed about my World Bureau Legacy characters. It was like they really wanted me to know this and now I can't shake it lol. I'm not ready to write this book yet because I'm still working on Peterson Estate. Then I have a few other books to write. So I'm going to share it here and see what you think? One of the new characters is a secret because I don't want to release this bomb just yet. But the new detective has a secret and it concerns Marcus. I don't know if it will happen when I actually sit down to write the book or not but it seemed to pull me in......and then the dream shifted to the bad guy, whoever he is lol. Okay, I know who he is. But here's what I have for him. During one of the time quakes, a rift was torn open and he was pulled from another parallel world, which means he can touch his copy from this world. I love how dreams can open the questions to answers you never see coming. It's so cool. Amber

Well, I recently learned that my daughter is having a boy. A new due date was also given, March 13th, which means he probably won't be born on my birthday and that's okay. There's still a chance he could be but I'm trying not to get my hopes up lol. I tend to do that a lot and the letdown is always hard on me. When I'm upset, my husband gets upset, and then we're upset together lol. I am crocheting the baby blanket now for Damon. It's going to take some time getting used to that name. Ruth-Anne got it from a TV show that she likes, can't remember which one, and named him after one of the characters from the show. Damon. These are the only boy colors that I have but I'm loving the combination so far. What do you think?

I just finished adding a few updates on my website so I thought I would come in here to leave a note. Yesterday ended up being a good day for me. Our neighbors invited my husband and I to a cook-out. We contributed with a large pot of Bush's beans which was eaten up. Luckily, I already had my writing done for the day because we spent all day pretty much just sitting around, laughing, and talking. It was great. Today is football day and the Cowboys are playing so I'm likely to get any work done with all of his yelling lol. Gonna try anyway lol. I began writing Peterson Estate 7 a few days ago and already have almost 4K words in. I had half of that done and thought this book could be a little more special. That was when the MC came to me and told me just how special she wanted it. And I agree. Since it's the last book in the series, I'm going to share some things I hadn't shared before, like how she came to be Emily Peterson, the Great Witch, starting with the angel who started it all. It's going to be awesome. I love everything to do with writing. I can't believe it chose me. Looking back at my life, now I understand why I was meant to be a writer. The pains I felt, the fears, and all the joys were for this right here--being a writer. Yeah, it was hard to get through it but I've always been a survivor. My husband made me see that. And he is proud of me. We've been through a lot together and we complete each other, which is totally awesome. I am here because of him. So how is your weekend so far? Yes, I do ramble on sometimes lol. My mind is filled with a lot of things bouncing off each other so when I talk, I can change subject without even realizing that. So I do apologize for that lol. Let's get something started and have some discussions. Let's make it fun! Amber
